When it rains, it pours puke

We have had some great "bad weather" as Calvy calls it. It has been raining and windy and beautiful, and I LOVE it!
Caleb didn't want to feel left out, and so I think this qualifies me as the worlds biggest puke magnet. I am SO over puke, and being puked on. When Alan came in from outside after I called him in, he said something cute to the effect of, I'm a good mom because I am always so close to them when they are sick, that I allow myself to get puked on. It is true, I would rather hold them and make them feel good while they are puking than to run away and leave them alone because I am afraid of getting puked on.
...I usually feel this way, but after the last 10 days, I am starting to opt for the running. ;0)

I love my children and I love being a mommy. Today is a trying day for me, I found it hard to get out of bed, and then I found it hard to clean up my baby's puke after I showered myself and bathed him, I then found it hard to make lunch and put them down for naps. Alan helped out with lunch and naps and even the pukey baby, before leaving for a test at school. I then found it hard to keep my countenance after I told Calvy to go pee and he said, "well there is pee all over my shorts". SERIOUSLY! I think this kid will be wearing a swim diaper when he gets baptized.
But now, they are all asleep , and I am taking this beautiful time to myself, I think I'll read a little and then slide into bed for a quick nap before they wake up.
Happy Autumn everyone, it is here!

Labor we will.

So as Alan and friends are laboring away on Treehouse, our super cute neighbor is off at the hospital in labor with her first baby. We are rooting for you!!!!!!

YAY!!!!! We had some AWESOME friends come over and help Alan finish up this treehouse. Yes, it is still in the process. I wanted Alan to finish the railing up so that I could just send the kiddos out there to play without freaking out about them falling off the edge. A few weeks ago he finished the stairs....but no railing, so I mentioned it to him the opportunity the kids would have now to get up there, but not have a way to keep them from falling off the edge. So he took off the last 4 steps, but they are back on today and the railing is almost finished. YES!!!!!! I am SO excited, I can't wait to have a BBQ and have the kids play and have fun. I am most excited about getting up in there and painting and decorating. I am going to put their table and kitchen set up there, which will also get it out of my house ;0) .

I didn't get a picture of everyone who came, but we had two other friends come, HUGE thank you to you!!!!!!!!!

Happy Labor Day

Share with your sister.

Well this is one circumstance where I would rather them not have shared.
Here is our poor Ellie. She did not seem to have it as bad, which I am super thankful for, when Calvin pukes he at least gives us some type of warning, Ellie would just be standing there and all of a sudden she'd do a pukey, kinda like this....she's a bit like the kid on Christmas that you see walking around puking.

I have decided that everyone should own a breakfast tray, they are fabulous.

This is what Calvy did last night...time out corner. ;6(
This is what baby Caleb did. He is such a fun little baby, it's like having my baby Calvy back. He is now getting his own look, he is SO big, I can't believe it.

Life is good....;0)

Today is a BEAUTIFUL day, we are enjoying a nice cold breeze throughout the house. Calvin is starting to feel better, Alan gave him some chicken noodle soup and he said "this is the best dinner I ever had", it was actually lunch, but how cut is that.

I have been noticing all of the funny things that my kids say, mostly Calvy but Ellie is getting there.

Ellie is starting to talk so much, she calls Caleb "la la" and she says he her baby. Calvin asks her to say all kinds of things all day and she does a pretty good job. So far today he has asked her to say Yellow, Orange and Caleb. Today she pointed to my breast milk I had just pumped out and said "mommy's meelk" she's so smart and getting so big.

Some cute things Calvy has been saying.

"I know you don't have a controller to move the clouds, but I wish you did, I wish you could buy one, I don't like when the clouds go over the sun."
"Caleb is so cute, his hair is cute, his little ears are cute, and his little eyes...look at his cute hair mommy, it's silly."
While counting his fingers, "five...wait where is my six finger?" "It's on your other hand" "Oh, six, seven, eight, nine, ten...ten fingers!"
