Josh Turner, "Would You Go With Me?"

McLaws Family Reunion

My Dad and I playing "Human Words" a game where you have to make the chosen word as fast as you can, the trick is to memorize the letters you have on your front and back. It's a lot harder than it looks. I can attest to that because my team had 2 points compared to the other teams with 10 or 12.
Washin dishes. The Frank McLaws family, that's us, were in charge of all the meals for Saturday so we were in the kitchen a lot.
We tried to leave him, but he stowed away. I opened the bag and there he was. He's so cute I can't believe we wanted to leave him. :)
You can thank my husband for this picture. We had to play jump rope for a relay. Cute huh?

We had to make the American Flag as fast as we could. That's my Mom bending down.
This is my Dad showing off his muscles in the kitchen.
My Mom and Aunt Julie making dinner.

No more shots....PLEASE!

Calvin had five shots today at his six month check-up. He wasn't feelin to hot afterward so I gave him something to cheer him up, a Twizzler. He really liked it, he was covered in pink stuff by the time I took it away from him.

Play Time

Just hangin out playin with mom. Don't look too close to mom...it was a no make-up day.

Yeah! Bath Time

Bath Time is fun!
We went swimming and then Calvin decided to "re-show" me his dinner, all over me and my swimming suit. Needless to say "Bath Time" was a must last night.

Learning to Chill Out

Calvin is finally learning to chill out during "Tummy Time" Hopefully we'll get this kid crawling. I know, I know it's harder when they can get around, but I can't help but want to see him achieve something.

Let's Go Camp'in!

We had a little sleepover with a couple of Calvin's cousins, Natalia and Jacob. Alan and I wanted to go camping but it was too hot, so we decided to build a "tent" in the front room. We ate spagetti and meatballs for dinner and then, we all watched movies and slept in the tent all night. It was a lot of fun.

Capitol "F" for Fun

Alan had a week off of work this week of the fourth, so we decided to take a tour of the Capitol Building in downtown Phoenix. We actually had a lot of fun, besides forgetting the stroller and the sling we had fun. Although Alan's muscles might disagree. We got someone to take our picture out in front, but he obviously in too much of a hurry.

Calvin was getting fussy toward the end so I tried to find something bright and shiny for him to play with. Lucky for me they had some blinking lights at the irrigation display. Thank goodness for SRP.

Roll Over!

Calvin rolled from his tummy to his back today. I know it's been a long time comin, I'm really bad at giving him tummy time. Now we just need to figure out how to roll back onto the tummy.

Transformers

Thanks to my sister Shanda and brother in law Paul, Alan and I were able to go to our first movie in about a year. It was our first night out since we had Calvin. We saw "Transformers" I don't know if I am just stuck inside too much, but that was the best movie either of us has ever seen. We might even go again tonight...what'a ya say Shanda? ;0)

Rock 'n Roll

Baby Calvin has been sick for a while now, and since he's been sick he has discovered a new facial expression. We normally call it his angry face, but we like to call this one, Rock 'n Roll Baby. Calvin laughs every time he sees this picture, he's looking at it right now and laughing. Wherever it's at he'll notice it and laugh.

Mother of Three...sort of.

I swear I could get away with calling myself a mother of three. I live in a house full of boys. Child#1: My husband, Alan, although a successful, hardworking and all together wonderful man, I still find myself mothering him. Child#2: My little hairy boy, Nixon (our toy poodle), his bark is DEFINATLEY worse than his bite; and last but not least, Child#3: My sweet baby boy, Calvin, our six month old, Human, son. Life is interesting, but I find the nights to be the most. At about 2am just about every morning I find myslef as if I were a needle in a haystack of boys. With Alan spooning with me, Calvin attached to my front nursing and Nixon right between my legs for the most comfortable spot in the house. I am amazed at how much sleep I actually get. LIFE, is good.
