I was checking out everyone's blogs and figured I might as well do a posting of my own. This post will not have any pictures, because I am currently lounging on the couch, which means my computer is not attached to my ext harddrive( my computer is telling me that this should be 2 separate words, but I disagree.) ;)
My awesome Mother is in town and we have been having a blast!!!! Every time my mom I know there are at least 3 things I will get, a pedicure, new clothes and we will sew something. I am not a great seamstress, but I am the daughter of one, so this trip I decided to take a lesson from her. she showed me some tricks on my machine and different tips of how to sew a tight pillow and other things. I hope I can get good enough to sew some more so that some day I can go to Elle's house and do some sewing projects with her.
I love to create and we have done a lot of creating this week. We have completely re-done my bedroom, which looks amazing BTW, I will post pics ASAP. We are finishing up my headboard, which sadly will not be hung until after my mom leaves, due to some poorly scheduled exams. Ugh!!!! But none the less, it will be beautiful in pictures too.
I have an appointment tomorrow, I will be 30 weeks so they will be scheduling my ultrasound to see what my good 'ol placenta is up to. I thought about telling them to just take a little peek down south and tell me what I'm having, but I had a wise friend tell me not to. It's not that I'm dying to know, honestly it's not that suspenseful for me, I'm happy either way, it's more that I just want to know so that if it is a boy that my other friend will give me all her boy clothes. I'm pretty sure it's a boy, but my friend assures me that she will NOT be giving me her boy clothes even if it is a boy, to show her distaste for me not finding out. I guess maybe I could lie and tell her I found out. Man I'm lucky she doesn't blog. ;0) Love you Tori!
Calvy has been as crazy as ever. Daddy taught him a saying to tell to one of the Nursery teachers, who is our friend, and he said it to him today. It went a little something like this.
Calvy: I'm going to hit you so hard, you'll taste my armpit.
Nate: What!? (laughing)
Me: He's going to punch you so hard, you are going to taste his armpit.
Nate: You are so your father's son.
Whole Nursery Staff: Laughing out Loud
Calvy has also started something today, I'm not really sure why or where he got it, but I am a little concerned, it is pretty similar to a condition which sounds like Ferrets. All day he has been running through the house yelling "Female!". I'm not joking. The way that he says it is what makes it for us, he says it as if it were a bad word almost. He's just a crazy boy who likes to run around and have fun. What can we say, we love him.
Ellie is such a fireball, she really has got us all figured out. She knows exactly how to work the system. If she is doing something she knows she is not supposed to do, she either just does it really slowly, looking out of the corner of her eye....as if I can't see, or she will try and do it in a way that she thinks she is cute. She is a pill!!!!! We love her so much!
Daddy just got home today after being gone for 4 days. He was at a NUCCA conference in Las Vegas. It was awesome having my mom here while he was gone, it could have been a very lonely and probably frightening week for me, having my husband and close neighbors gone. My mom will be leaving on Tuesday and I am really sad about it, so that is all I was say about the subject.
Love you all, hope you have a great week.
Peace!
