Past Prego pics

This is one of my Christmas presents. I was so excited because I thought I didn't have any of me while pregnant with Calvy. I forgot how big I was right off the bat with him.
It was really fun to go back down memory lane. Enjoy, just some of the experience, there are too many to share.

This bike took us(Alsy, with me pretty much watching) till 3am. We got this bike for a steal months ago at a big sale for $6.50, but it was a booger to put together.
We originally were going to give this to him for his B-day in Jan. We had this really cool tent/tunnel thing for him to play in the house with because it's too too cold outside. Well, while setting it up 3 poles broke and so did my spirit. I was so mad, I was so excited to give him that gift, but he did love his bike. His favorite gift was a pirate set from the Dollar Store, funny.

We had to convince him to go look at what Santa brought him, all he wanted to do was watch Nemo.
Santa gift. Video coming.
He warmed up to it, lets just say it took a while to convince him it was fun.
We've had a Merry Christmas. I think his favorite would have to be drum he got from his Grandma Barnes, we have already hidden it from him, it's VERY loud. :) My favorite gift would have to be the pictures Alsy developed for me, I've had 3 cameras sitting in my drawer for years now and he went and got them developed. They were so fun, most of them were of the time while I was pregnant with Calvy, so that was fun to look at. Alsy's favorites are his software for tranfering movies onto his iPod and his new aluminum water bottle. Nixon got a new squeaky toy and some dog treats, which he is sharing with our little house guest, Penelope(our friends min pin).

Christmas Eve in Iowa

Yet again, it uploaded them out of order and it won't let me rearrange them...annoying...do you here me Blogspot People, it's annoying!

It is a tradition with my family to have a progressive dinner with family and at the last house we open our Grandma Jammies.
This year we had a progressive dinner with some friends, our "Iowa Family". It was super fun. We had an appetizer, the dinner at our house and then hot chocolate and a movie at our other friends' house.
It was cold, but fun. So these are some pictures of us in our new jammies(thank you Momma!), they are not quite warm enough for these Iowa winters, but Calvy would not let us take those off, so we did extra socks and blankets tonight. This last picture was after dinner at our house, that's why my stomach is sticking our so far...haha. So as you can see, no baby yet...hopefully soon....pretty please. :)

I just saw this for the first time, so I had to post it. It is so funny.

Winter Overload

Iowa has some CRAZY weather. Yesterday was a crazy winter day here in Davenport. See our porch furniture? We had so much snow, it was non-stop all day.
We had a dinner with Alsy's newspaper crew last night, when we got home I sat in the car with Calvy asleep in the back while Alsy shoveled our walk. Everyone was outside shoveling and snow blowing, it was almost 10:00 when we got home. Seriously! When does it stop? ( there's a little glimpse of our new van)

Hide and Seek

We have gotten so many packages from Alsy's parents so we have a TON on boxes. I went to the basement to switch the laundry and came back up and couldn't find Calvy. Then I heard a litttle something and this popped out. He was actually having a little poopy time. This is his poopy face. Poor guy, he just wanted a little privacy.
It was really cute to watch him try to get it closed again. I remember being a kid and loving boxes. It's so fun to him pretend.

Trying to keep warm.

Well it gets pretty cold here, especially in the morning after getting out of your nice warm bed. So we have to set Calvy in front of the TV right next to the heater with a blanket. These heater work pretty well, but it is still so cold out that it's hard for them to keep up. I don't know what we're going to do, maybe it'll just have to be super expensive for us in the winter.
Look at little Nixy! That collar is pretty bright huh? :)

Well this site is being a little stubborn and it won't let me move the pictures around so here is the finished product. I did not take a before, but you've seen him with his long hair.
He loved to see himself in the mirror with his new hair. He's so cute, he looks so big.
Look at all that hair...ignore all the other stuff in that pile.
He did so well, he didn't cry at al while I was cutting it, but he did cry when I had to hose him off in the bathtub. He got 2 big boy candies for being so good.
