My Thumbs are Definitely NOT Green.

This is evidence of my non-gardening skills. The saddest thing about these pictures is that both of these plants were gifts. This small rose bush was a Birthday present from my girlfriend and the other outdoor plant was a Mother's Day gift from my friend next door. I'm sorry friends, I do love you and I do love your gifts....my gardening skills are just lackin in the crackin.

Train ride.

Ok so we went to the Zoo again, and I am blogging about it all on the same day....I have been away from the computer for a while now. So Alsy got out of school and we rushed over to the Zoo to take advantage of our free day. It was SO fun, it was the first time he had ever been to this Zoo, funny huh especially with all the times we have gone. :) I forget what these birds are called but they sre fun, you get to go inside the cage with them and if you want you can buy some nectar for a dollar and they fly all over you. It is such a blast.

If you look real close you can see her SUPER boogery nose. :) My awesome friend Tori gave me her double stroller when she got a new one. She's awesome, the most spoiled girl I know....but not a bratt and the most giving. I love you Tori!

C was not a huge fan. He likes to get close and look, but does NOt....repeat NOT want to touch.
A little out of order, but this is at the petting zoo part of the Zoo. We get foor for a quarter and feed the goats. They have all kinds of animals, but this is all we fed. The goats are so cute they are called pigmy goats and they don't bite they just use their lips and toungue to scoop up all the food in your hand. They are really fun,
So, I am not a huge fan of me in this picture but I had to show it, it was so funny to have them all over me, it freaked me out a little, I was afraid they would poo on me. No poop happened just lot so fun. Alsy calls this picture the "Bird Lady"....hopefully not that bad. ;)

The Niabi Zoo....Again.

We love the Zoo...especially of FREE Friday in September. This is the two munchkins on the Carousel.
This was her second time on the Carousel, but the first time being big enough to look around and see.
We love the Train ride too, thanks to our friend Tori we got on FREE.

Playin Around

These are our neighbors, they are our favorite. They have given us a great about a million baby toys and bottles and a carseat and about a million other things, they are awesome. Every time they clean out a closet or their garage we always end up with fun new toys. The kids found some doggie treats and the mom said that they kept saying that Nixon(our dog) would like to have them so they brought them over. They are awesome. Anyway, this is us playing in our front yard.

Wrestling time. These kids are so fun, C just loves to play with both of them, he learns a lot of great moves from this little boy, like how to jump off of things and new wrestling moves. ;)

Same Temple Trip as Below

My friends husband(who is also my friend) took some pictures of my kiddos for me while we were in the Temple. He's so nice. Thanks Rich("you must be rich because your name begins with RICH") ;)
This is C and his cute friend. I love these two pictures because of his stance. He has been really into super heroes and Spider man and all kinds of BOY things. So this is him shooting a gun. I'm not quite sure where he learned it, but I'm guessing his Daddy.

These were so cute to look at on the drive home. I can just see C trying so hard to keep her there, she is such a "free" spirit.
I love this one because of the silhouette of the Temple in the background. It was a great trip, I love going to Nauvoo. Thanks Beck!!!!!

Nauvoo Temple

For those of you who do not know the Nauvoo Temple is our Temple, so when my friend asked if I wanted to do a session with her I was thrilled, so that is why we always seem to be in Nauvoo. It's such a beautiful place, every time we go I love it more and more. Alsy and I were able to go this lat weekend,( I didn't get any pictures) it was such a treat to be with him and to spend the day together. Being the weekend all the sessions for the whole weekend filled up on Thursday, so we ended up doing Sealings, which was amazing, I wouldn't have had it any other way. I love the Temple, it makes us stronger, better individuals. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve and to be served.
C is so cute, when we got to Nauvoo and we got out of the car and started walking toward the temple he looked up pointed at the Temple and said "that's the Nauvoo Temple!" That little moment was to die for, all our Family Home Evenings are paying off. He's such a cutie, we will definitely be keeping him for a while. :)

I think they were bugging his nose, because he kept scrunching it up and touching it. So cute.

Quick Trip to Indiana

So I realized that I had never posted our trip to Indiana. It was such a fun, but very quick trip. I had so much fun seeing my sister. I realized while we were there that I don't really even know who she is any more. She is a grown woman with a husband and son. It kinds weirded me out, even still while looking at the pictures it's weird for me. I love her so much and her sweet little baby boy. I wish her husband could have shared the weekend with us too. This is a picture of us at Cracker Barrel for breakfast the day we parted ways....SO sad.
I'm not sure if you can tell but we are sisters, and we are 16 months apart. Growing up we had the same color hair and were pretty much the same height and wore matching clothes(something she HATED, but something I LOVED) so everyone always thought we were twins. I love my sister, she is one of the sweetest people you'll meet, she has a very giving heart and is such a great person inside and out.
My poor dad was so sad to see his little grandson go. He kept saying the while weekend how he didn't want to say goodbye. Hopefully my house and little family weren't too much of a disappointment for him. ;)

Just hanging out i our hotel room before breakfast. We had had a LONG night the night before just staying up and talking. It was my birthday the day we got there so when we got the hotel everyone kept saying maybe she should take you to your room and then we'll go to dinner. I just kept saying let's just go, I'm starving and I want me some Texas! They finally got me in there and I realized why there was such a push to get me in there. They had decorated the whole room with streamers and balloons and presents. It was so fun to be welcomed like that. I love surprises so I totally LOVED this. I took pictures but they are on my other camera...before I got my SWEET one for my B-day. All in all it was a blast, I was so sad that it was so short, it almost doesn't even seem like it happened, almost like a dream. Mattie and I have said that we will do it again just so we can hang out once and a while. I love you Mattie!!!! I can't wait to see you again....soon.
