Halloween Birthday Party

Some friends of ours are done with Palmer and are going back home to start up their practice. So they decided to celebrate their sons B-day, Halloween and going away all in one party. It was so fun, the kids and parents all had a blast. This is at the end of the night, C was very tired so he decided to take himself a little rest, in the middle of the floor.

A got some fake teeth that he had to wear for musical chairs.

C was lovin this balloon. He was supposed to pop it and get the prize out of it, but he obviously was not concerned with the prize inside.

His cute little "Boo" shirt that I made, which by the way is already too small.

He's my little GQ Boy. He looked so ute in is little outfit, I had to take some pictures. His hair is getting so long, he looks so much like his daddy.

Trick-or-Treating at the Mall

Little C is totally into doing "la-dla-dla-dla" His face is so cute when he does it. This is us in Borders after the Festivities. It was so crazy, we got there and ate and then braved the crowd. It wasn't as bad as it was when we had gotten there, but by that time all the candy was pretty much gone, C got a few pieces and we decided to go. We went to our friends house and watched a movie. Lie without school is so much fun, events like this never happen during school. I LOVE having A around, it's so much fun.

Halloween party

We had this amazing party planned for all the kids, we were going to have a Carnaval in our backyard, but weather changes and a tired momma we cancelled it and decided to have a little get together with a couple friends to just get rid of all the food I had already purchased. Throw a few sheets on the furature, take down a few home decorations, light some candles and you've got yourself an "abandonned" house perfect for a Halloween get together.

All these pictures are after the dinner was over and all the guests(minus Nate) had left. C was so much fun, he was running around playing and lauging and screaming with his friends, Hanna and Little K.

We dressed A's skeleton up as a scary witch, so this was the first thing you were supposed to see as you walk in the front door, reality, no one noticed it. It was fun to have though.

In pictures it honestly just looks messy, but it was fun, I was proud of my idea.

Poise+Meds+Tea and Honey = My Week

I feel like I'm going to die these days. Warm tea and Honey are a soothing, but not great remedy for me each morning and night. I feel like I am literally going to cough up a lung these days. And being pregnant you know what that means. I pee my pants at least 5 times a day. Alan picked me up some of these pads, they are nice, but I just majorly peed my pants and it just soaked the pad and apparently my pants as well. Man I hate having a cough.
Does this stuff actually work? I keep taking it and cough drops trying desperately to get rid of this cough. And yet, I just peed my pants, hmm, either this stuff doesn't work or I've reverted back to my childhood.
Now this stuff actually does work. This mixed with cough syrup, hot shower, hot tea and honey and cough drops get me to sleep every morning. Morning because I don't get to sleep till about 5 or 6 in the morning, for the past 3 days. Oh, man I am so ready for this to be over.
This is me! Serious, can you see why I am peeing my pants every 2 seconds? Well, I need to go change my pants, throw another load of whites on and get me a hot shower.

These are for my momma.

Mom, See not much different just moved the curtains from the bedroom to the dining. We still need to paint and get a nice table cloth. These are our new curtains and bedspreads. They are thermo curtains so they keep the light and heat and cool out.
I want to get some different throw pillows, maybe try blue accents. I'm not sure, we just bought that picture and it's red so I think I am going to stick with red for a while longer. Or put it in a different room.
Anyway, that's our new bedspread. I love it it's so luxurious for only $65. Love you mom. Can't wait to see you and Daddy. We miss you guys.

Pumpkin Patch

This is us on the hayride through the pumpkin patch and farm. They had all kinds of stuff to do there, petting zoo, pony rides, BBQ, HUGE Astro Jump and more. C hangin out waitin for the Hayride and playing with rocks.
We arrived at the Pumpkin Patch. C kept saying, "Ja-ta-dough" Which translates into Jackolantern.


And that's all she wrote. We had a good morning and came home EXTREMELY tired. Since then we have had a busy day, Halloween Birthday parties and YW/YM Stake Dances, so we are tired and relaxing watching a movie and then going to bed. I will post pictures of the Party later.

Pretty....Handsome in Pink?

Well we've got double pink eye and another cold. Look at those yummy eyes. This poor guy woke up today whining really quietly, well atleast quieter than normal, and I went in and he couldn't open his eyes, they were boogered shut. Poor baby. We went to the Doc yesterday and got some eye drops, so he's no longer contageous, but still has boogers. We only have to do the eyedrops for 4 days, so nice.
Atleast through all this he has maintained his sweet happy self.
Our little friend little K has the same thing, we went to the same doctor on the same day and got the same diagnosis. Talk about best friends, they share everything...ya, we wish they got a long that well. :)

Little Side Note

Sorry I know this is like post overload, but I had to tell you something funny. Last night we decided to make some orange julius. After Making Big A's I had him taste it to make sure it was to his liking. He takes a drink and says, and I quote "it taste like orange juice"......um.....Honey, that's what Orange Julius is. We had a good laugh. and I warned him I would put this on the blog, I love you Babe.

Just a Reminder.

Just wanted to remind everyone what I have to look forward to. I am hoping, hoping, hoping that it doesn't get to this. My diet is very different than it was with Little C, I'm not eating the bacon double cheeseburgers and fries, and the chocolate doughnuts and pretty much whatever sweet or fried thing put in front of me. Hopefully that will help things, I'm hoping that swelling does not come the way it did the first time, yuck!

What a sweet little old man look he had. Oh I am excited now, I can't wait to see this little girl.

I got to wear a Gown this week.

This week has been eventful. On Monday I had been having a lot of contractions and was extremely exhausted, more than usual. I just kind of ignored it and didn't think too much of it. On Tuesday I noticed that I was having them more frequently and they were kind of painful. I still just kind of ignored them and went about my day. We went the the library and checked out a few Halloween books, and then went home. C went down for a nap and I sewed up a craft I've been working on. I noticed that I couldn't stand for very long because I was so tired and I kept contracting. I decided that when C woke up we'd go for a walk to get Nixon out of the house. Before we left for our walk I decided I shold just call my midwife and let them know what was going on. They took my symptoms and said they would have one of the midwives call me back. I didn't ask them if I could go for a walk because I figured they would tell me I shouldn't, and I had already told C that we were going and didn't want to deal with the disappointment he would feel. While on our walk I got a call from my Midwife, Rachael, and she asked what was going on I told her and she asked how close they were. I had realiaed when we walked out the door that I was having one and at the beginning of our conversation I had one as well and that had been about 2 or 3 minutes. She, "Ok, Keara, here's what you're going to do, your going to turn around and go home, jump in your car take C to a friends house and your going to check yourself into the hospital." I was so caught off guard that I started to cry. I though she was going to tell me to go home and pee, drink some water and lay down, I was not expecting her to send me to the hospital. I honestly did not think it was that bad. So...I did what she said, I called my friend and dropped C off, I headed for the hospital. I couldn't get a hold of Big A, and I kept getting caught in traffic, then I got the the ER and there weren't any parking spots, I had to park on the second level of the parking garage accross the way(really annoying, I felt like yelling to everyone, "Woman in labor here people, get out of my way!!!"). I get checked in, and sent to my room I get my beautiful "gown"(:-) and then hooked up to all my monitors. As the machines starts to track all of my contractions there is a bit of hustle and bustle around me. I knew they were gettng stronger and a little more uncomfortable but I just didn't think it was serious, until I saw how close they were. I was having contraction 3 minutes apart, it felt like the second I go over one and took my breath, I had another. It was crazy. Anyway, I had gotten a hold of Big A but told him not to worry, and to keep studying and I would let him know when to come. After about 5 negative tests, which was actually a good thing, and about 2 hours they couldn't figure out why I was contracting and didn't want to send me home until they stopped. There were no signs of them stopping so they decided to give me a shot to stop the contractions. I didn't want to take it because I'm not real big on medicine, so I asked if I could wait an hour and talk it over with my husband. I had Big A come down with one of our good friends to give me a blessing. I said a quiet prayer asking for guidence. I was worried about the shot because they said i would spike my heart rate and the babies and make me jittery, I was not looking forward to it. During my blessing I felt like the shot would be ok, so Big A and I decided that if within the next hour or so my contractions didn't stop, that we would have them give me the shot. Well, they never stopped or slowed, so I got the shot. I will never, repeat:NEVER get that shot again, it made me feel so weird, I felt like I had parkinsen's disease, I was shaky and my heart and the babied hearts were racing, but it did stop my contractions, which I am eternally grateful. They monitored me for a while longer and then sent me home and 9:30pm. I went and got C as Big A went and got food, I hadn't eaten since breakfast minus some graham crackers in the hospital. Two hours after the I recieved the shot it wore off and my contractions came back. I chose not to tell them and to just go to bed, I really did not want to go back to that hospital room. I called them the next morning and they wanted to se me in the office. So this week has been full of Tests and ultrasounds and Dr. appointments and midwife appointments, everything points to NO preterm labor, just contractions. They still want to watch me relly closely and I still have some more tests they want to run just to make sure, but I am feeling good, minus the contractions here and there. Anyway, I am so grateful for our friends for helping us out with my blessing and with watching little C. I am grateful for medicine and for hospitals and nurses and other friends looking shots up on google for me so I knew more about what I was getting myself into. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers, we appreciate them and appreciate your concern.
