My Newest Creation

I stole these pictures from my sister's blog(Thanks Shanda). I made these shirts for a Christmas gift for my nieces and nephew(we picked their name). I am definitely going to make some more with the little decal on the back, I love how they turned out. You can't see the decal on the back of Vance's shirt but they are Triceratops Tracks.
That spot is not on her shirt, Shanda's not sure why it's there.

I just had to make a comparison post(Blast, I wish I knew how to use my photo shop so I could do side by side...oh well). I couldn't tell if I was looking that much better with this pregnancy than with my first, so seeing these two pictures really helped with that. Lets compare time-lines shall we. Picture #1 was taken 3 days AFTER my due date, and picture #2 was taken today, 3 days before my due date. I am hoping that in the next 6 days I don't end up looking like picture #1. I feel so much better with this pregnancy than I did the first time, so I guess that is what counts. Looks aren't everything....right? ;0)It's weird to think that this little "bum holder upper" used to be that BIG bump in my belly. Life is a trip for sure.

Last Prego Post...I Hope.

Ok, I am hoping that by putting these pictures on here for EVERYONE to see, that this will be my last chance to post while pregnant. Meaning, I hope I have this baby with in the next few days our hours, which ever. :)
I swear the camera does add 10 pounds, even Alsy says so. I do think that I looked cuter in person.
Calvy decided to help lift up my bum for the picture. Such a good boy.

The Polar Express and a Gas Leak

Ok, we took Calvy to the Polar Express in 3D at the Imax. It was SOOOO fun. I highly recommend it to EVERYONE! The second we walked in and Alsy put on the glasses Calvy was mesmorized. He never said a word or moved position, he wouldn't eat any popcorn or take a drink, he was so into it. He sat on Alsy's lap so he would bounce him in the scary parts or the roller coaster parts, he made it really fin for him. He actually did talk once, when Santa came on screen he kept whispering "Santa...Santa". It was seriously so fun and so rewarding to see how much he loved it.
Isn't that the funniest face? I love his weird lips.
When we got home from the Imax Calvy was fast asleep and I walked up through the kitchen and I instantly smelt gas. I opened all the windows I could and left the door open went back down to the garage and let Alsy know. I put Calvin back in his carseat and Alsy set up fan and grabbed the dogs and we went to lunch. We couldn't go anywhere too exciting because we couldn't leave the dogs in a freezing car, so we had some Wendy's in the Wendy's parking lot.
All in all it was a good day, we had a lot of fun.

Christmas-Christmas Eve...Out of Order..of Course.

Calvy got a super cool bike, that took us until 3am to put together. He likes it, if he could just reach the pedals... :( That little doggie in the picture is out friends(the Walls') dog, Penelope. We were watching her over the Christmas break. Calvy thought it was one of his presents I think. When she went home Cavy woke up the next morning asking for PeePee(her nick name). It was kinda sad, but I think he made a friend for life. :)
This was Calvy waking us up on Christmas morning. He walked in asking for Nemo, too bad he didn't get anything Nemo for Christmas. Please excuse the Bra, Iwish I new how to edit.
This was Calvy's Santa present. He loves his Mickey, he sleeps with him and the blanket every night, and he brings Mickey to me in the morning so we can all sleep together.
We have a tradition on Christmas Eve to get Christmas Jammies from Grandma. My mom sent us our jammies in the mail, we were so excited, well I was, to open them on the Eve. Calvy got Cars, and Alsy and I got some nice comfy Jams. Calvy loves his Cars.
Another tradition we have for Christmas Eve is to have a Progressive Dinner. We have all the different courses at different houses. To help me feel a little more at home here in Iowa, and less homesick during Christmas we decided to have one ourselves with all the families that stayed too. We had our appetizer at our friends' the Squires beautiful home, and we had Hawiian Haystacks at our house and watched "Elf", then went over to the Muffets and had dessert, made by our friends the Ramos', and Hot Chocolate and watched "Christmas Vacation". It was so much fun, it was the perfect distraction from home. Thank you to all of our friends, we had such a great Christmas Eve with you guys.
On Christmas day we were invited to our neighbors' house for a family get-together. It was a lot of fun, they had a TON of food and sweet treats and everyone was so nice. We have the best neighbors and friends, and they all made this Christmas Season great.
