Sunday Morning
C. I just don't want to pee on mommy.
D. Ok bud.
C. I just pee on the bed.
While he his sitting on my lap
C. I don't wanna toot on you.
M. ok, thank you
C. I just not toot on Mommy.
...Silence...
C. I just not pee.
M. Did you just pee?
C. no I just not pee, or poop.
M. Okay.
After he woke up from his nap..and yes he was still in his jammies, we have jammie issues.
C. I have ground food in my jammas.
M. You have ground food?
C. Ya, I have ground food in my jammies, you put ground food in your slippers.(yes I had slippers on)
I'm not sure what ground food is but I'm assuming it's the food that falls on the ground after meals. Maybe I should sweep more often, too bad I only "love" it sometimes.
I wish I was better at writing these down right away or be able to remember them all, but there are just too many. Elle is so close to walking. I walked down the hall on Sunday morning and there she was, just standing there drinking her bottle. She is so random it cracks me up. She loves to be independent and has her own little personality. She has these squinty eyes that she does to express her feelings. It's really funny, I'll have to see if I have a picture of it.
I am thankful for my family, I wouldn't have the opportunity to be a great wife without Alan, and I our kiddos give us the opportunity to become great parents. Key word being opportunity. ;0)

One more for the record book.

Calvy: Can I have my crayon?(referring to the orange crayon in the bathroom garbage)
Mommmy: No.
Calvy: Please, it's not garbage.
Mommy: No bud, it's broken.
Calvy: Don't poop on it. Okay mommy.
C: Do you want to play dinosaurs wiss me Daddy?
Daddy: I can't right now bud, I gotta study.(It's finals week)
C: You wanna play Dinosaurs wiss me?
Daddy: I really can't bud, I'm sorry.
C: You want play dinosaurs wiss me?
Daddy: Yes! Let's go. :)
C: What did you do?
Dinosaur: _______
C: Why did you do that?
Dino:______
C: You don't break his house. You go to Time out.
This last one I heard Elle crying and walked I to see Calvy hitting her(even as I am typing this he is asking me if I want to play with his dinosaurs) .
This was our conversation:
M:What happened?
C: Uh....
M: Why is baby sister crying?
C: Uh, she is poopy.
Calvy says the funniest things these days, I just have to document them. He is so fun to play with and listen to. He teaches his dinosaur all about Heavenly Father and Jesus and how Jesus died and that he got owies on his hands and feet. He's such a fun little boy with such an amazing personality. We love him more than we ever thought we could love another person.

My Better Half

I know that to some it is annoying to read about other wives bragging about how wonderful their husbands are and how much they love them, so.....if that is you then you might want to click that little red "x" up in the right hand corner( and for those of you with a MAC, click that red circle, wherever it pops up) as for the rest of you, buckle up for a super sappy post.
I am so blessed to have Alsy in my life. I really do not know what I would be without him, he truly makes me want to be a better person. He gives, and takes, but mostly gives. We have been redecorating...again...and I am one of those people who have a hard time envisioning how things are going to look, so I am therefore a "furniture mover" (Becky (0;) I have to see that piece of furniture in the particular spot before I can say I like it or I hate it. So today I decided I wanted this piece of furniture in the closet to create some more shelving in our play room. Alsy told me that it wouldn't work the way that I am envisioning it, I tend to have an alternate reality in my mind that seems to seep out into the decorating of my house. If I see a pic in a magazine that I like I go home to make my room look the same, and for some reason I think that my hand-me-down furniture re-arranged in this different way that it will magically turn into this magazine cover furnature. So anyway, Alsy tries to bring me down off of that, but like today, it doesn't always work. So, back to the piece of furniture, we realize it isn't going to fit with the closet doors on, so he taked them off, even though he had said that he still didn't think it would work, but I wanted to try. It didn't work, so he decides that if he takes the piece of furniture apart that it might fit that way. So he takes it apart and we slide it it and as he is just about to shimmy behind the piece to put it all back together, I tell him it's not what I was envisioning and asked if we could just take it out. Now I was not being miss spoiled brat, I really didn't want him to take it all apart, but he knew that I was not yet convinced so he did it anyway. So long story short, 2 1/2 hours later the furnature is out of the closet put back together and the doors back on and everything back the way it was before he helped me. To top it off he took this time away from studying for his finals, which he is actually very nervous about. Then to top it off even more, I told him that I was sorry for being the way that I am and having to see it, and taking him aways from studying for such a long time, and this is what he says back to me, "it doesn't matter what we are doing, just being with you is what I like to do". That did it! ;0) I love him so much, I am so grateful for him and the overwhelming love that he has for me. He is definitely my better half.
Disclamer: this post in no way tries to portray a perfect life, said people are always looking to be better and hit MANY bumps along the way, but they try to enjoy them. "Try" being the key word.

So many things...too little patience.
I know I'm cute...but this is my family...my real family....not my fake family that we portray on Sundays. You know you know what I'm talking about. I love to blog, but if you remember from my last post, I have the worlds slowest computer...well that is if you aren't counting my mom's. ;0)
I had to blog about my kiddos for a sec. Calvy is the cutest boy I have ever had(he has to be because he is my only boy) I would say in the whole world, but I know I'd offend the mothers of all the other "cutest boy in the world". So now that we have established that, we can get down to the nitty gritty of why Calvy is the cutest boy. During family prayer he was giving thanks for all his blessings. "thank you for my toys, thank you for this day, thank you for the YMCA, etc." and then he says " thank you for the food....." you could almost hear the wheels turning in his head then he says with a smile on his face, "there's no food here." We could not hekp it, we busted up laughing, it was so hard to finish the prayer after that.
Elle has been a little handful lately, she is already standing on her own. She is such a little stinker, she does nothing for recognition or pleasure on our part. When I want her to stand she refuses, she turns her legs into little spagetti noodles, and not the thick kind, it's more like Angel hair pasta. But when she is just doing it on her own and I start to notice and she notices that I noticed...Angel hair. She is such a little fart, and I love all of her stinky little self. She is also starting to talk. I guess it shouldn't surprise me because this is about the time that Calvy started saying his famous words, "What is that?". I have been teaching her sign and it's so funny because as I am saying the word milk and doing the sign she does the sign back while saying the word. When we come in the room she says hi and waves. The other night we were sitting on our bed with the kids we decided to teach her the sign for "thank you". Again she decided she'd just say the word, but this time she cut the signing out, she must have figured out that saying it works just as well. She cracks me up.
I love being a mother. When I think about having more I get a little anxiety, but I know that I will have more moments like these and I know that it will be hard, but it will be so fun at times too. I love my family, they are my most prized possession, I would do anything for them, they are my life.
I'll end by saying, "I believe the children are our future"-Whitney Houston

Computer Woe's
I have so many pictures that I would love to post, but because I have the SLOWEST computer that has ever been made, it is not happening. I am going to attempt it, but if there is not a post after this one you know what my night was like. You know....."oh my gosh!" "seriously!" then some slamming of the hands against the desk, maybe some cursing under my breath, and maybe even a couple close calls of my computer ending up on the floor....in pieces.
Hope everyone is doing well.
