Snow!!!!!!!!

My Mom and Lyda came to visit...yeah baby! We've been having a lot of fun. Alan found a hill that he could snow board, so he did a few runs.
We went to a different hil and did some sledding. Lyda got a bit of snow up her jacket.
Lyda thought it would be fun to shuvle our walks. I think she might have learned that it isn't.
We had a HUGE snowball fight last night. We got the most perfect snow, we went to our friends and pelted his back door to get him to come out and have a fight with us.

Lyda made a sweet snowman, which oddly resembles our brother Jacob.
Sledding.
Dito.
Lyda doing a sweet face. It startedsnwing really hard last night so while we were running some errands Lyda and Alan and I had a big snowball fight in the Home Depot parking lot.
Sledding fun!

Valentine's Night

This is us after dinner. We ate at a place called Krazy Wok, it is so good, it's kinda like Pei Wei. We had lettuce wraps and everything, mmmm yum. We look a little tired, we just ate a lot, and...we are tired. We got a babysitter for the first time, we've left him before but this is the first time we've paid someone. It was nice to go to dinner with adults. My awesome gifts. I love chocolates with nuts and caramel, and these are all nuts and caramel. Daisies are my absolute favorite flower, he always makes them look so beautiful, he arranged them himself, and if you look closely those are kit kats flooting in the vase, my other favorite. (sorry my camera is still on the blink)
Yay, Happy Valentine's Day.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Yay! I love Holidays, it doesn't matter which Holiday it is, I love it. It gives us something to look forward to. It seems so hard to get excited for Holidays, especially one like Valentine's Day, when you have to cook, clean and change LOTS of poopy diapers.
So, if you're cuddling up to a man, a sick kid or just a box of chocolates, have a GREAT Valentine's Day.

This was the day of our huge snow storm. It snowed for almost 2 days straight. It was 4 degrees out, I think, Alan was dying(I told him to put a jacket on) This is one of the buildings at Palmer, Alan spends a lot of time in that skywalk studying. Look how white everything is.

Twilight...New Moon.

I am obsessed. It all started when my sister Shanda gave me a book that she said she couldn't get in to. It wasn't that she said she couldn't into it that turned me off, it was the reason she couldn't get into it. she said it was about a Vampire. Yah, a Vampire. So I didn't even give it a chance, I stuck it in my book shelf and forgot about it. My friend Liz was over one day and some how the subject came up. She said the book was amazing and that there was a series and she had rad them all and was waiting, impatiently for the next to come out. So I decided to give it a chance. I could not put it down. I became obsessed, to the point where it almost scared me. I thought of Edward while taking showers, while cooking dinner and while sleeping. I could not get this book out of my brain. I thought for a while that normal life was not an option for me any more, I thought that my life would from now on revolve around Edward and Bella. I finished Twilight in 3 days, which is some kind of record for me, the worlds SLOWEST reader. I got worried, I had to confied in my husband and trusted friend Liz. I felt so bad, I couldn't remember what I had even done for those 3 days, I wasn't even sure if Calvin had eaten. I was completely absorbed. After a short, but much needed break I am onto the second book, New Moon. I have consciously taken it slow. I have not read even one page today. Alan had an extremely worried look on his face when he came home one morning from early class and found me back in bed reading. So, no more, I am vowed to stick to sanity, reality is best. But life with Edward sounds pretty good too. :)

I want to hear stories of others who have read these books. Good or bad.
