1. Nicole-She was the first person I thought of, due to her amazing ability to look on the bright side. she is a great mommy and does a great job at keeping her home clean and in order and teaches her boys to be so bright and good.

2. Cassie-She is one of my best friends who is constantly coming up with a fun and crafty idea, and finishes almost all of them. :) She is a great mommy who loves her little girly. She is always in control and loves it. I love her, she is such a great example to me.

3. Chrsita- This is one amazing mom, not only is she beautiful on the ouside, but extremely gorgeous on the inside, she has such a great spirit and desire to help others and make them feel included. She loves her little girls so much, you can see the burden it puts on her, but she carries it well. She is such a kind hearted person who seems to have a LOT of unfortunate sad things happen and yet she is a sweet fun person to be around. I hope I can be a mom just lke her when my second comes, she's an inspiration. and congrats to her, she finally got her little Emma to sleep on her own. Yay!

4. Liz-This woman can make me cry, make me laugh and make me pee my pants at the drop of a hat. She is an amazing woman who has born trials like a champ. She is another one of my best friends. She like most woman loves children, and though she has not yet been able to experience motherhood, she is already a great mother to 24 children 8 hours a day. She works so hard and loves to play hard too. She loves children and can't wait for that time to come when she can have her own. I love her so much, she was pretty much my saving grace when we moved here, I wouldn't have made it without her.

5. Jill-After years and years of tears and fear that she would never have her own children to love she has joined the other side. She is now a mommy and has been for the last year. While trying to get pregnant everyone around ber seemed to be having baby after baby. She never once seemed angry or jealious, only happy for the others. We got to share a little over a year together experiencing the same sadness that comes when you don't get that baby you want so badly. After a year and a half I finally got pregnant and seemed to leave her in the dust. She was such a great person, she held up like a true family member should, she came to my shower and congratulated me, and bought me gifts, she showed me the love that I seemed to have forgotten to give her. I love her so much, she is such a great mom, she truly does love her little babies. She is the epitemy(sp) of selflessness.

Full of Thanks

Ok, so I got this idea from a friend who got it from another friend, for each day of November I will attempt to remember to post one thing I am thankful for.

So today I am especially thankful for Friends. Our friends have truly become our family here in Iowa. We have so many good friends that have taken us in and have truly shown us what love is. We had a break-the-fast over at our friends the Eagar's and we had so much fun. Being together with all of our friends and talking and having a good time, it's such a great substitute for family when you don't have any around. Thank you everyone for such a fun night.

I am also thankful for callings and the people we serve with. I have the most amazing woman serving with me in the Young Women's Program. Between family being in town, being sick and having a sick kid I have missed many meetings and mutual activities. They have been so great and have totally taken up the slack for me and not complained. I love our presidency. Thank you Liz and Rachel for being so awesome and understanding, I am truly thankful for you.

Grandparents ROCK...visits rock.

We were so excited for them to come and super sad to see them go. C had a 105 temp the morning they caught their plane so after a blessing, Tylenol and a cool bath we got it down to 99.9, which happened to be around 5 in the morning, after going to bed at 1am. We got to catch up on some sleep until C woke up roaring to go, no fever in sight. That was a long day.

A's Parents.

This is how their trip went. C asking to read a book, one right after the other. This is his Johny Tractor book that G-pa got for him at the Machine Shed. He is in love with it, he has it completely memorized. It begins with, "Hi, I'm Johny Tractor" and ends with "With my strong dependable motor I can work all day" So when C grabs the book he says, "Hi...All Day". It's really funny, and super cute.

He won't even play with it like a tractor, he just wants to open it up and read it. It's two toys in one, well it's supposed to be, C just sees it as a book now.

Look at that face lookin up at his G-pa readin him a story. He loved them so much, he warmed up so fast, we were all impressed. Hopefully he'll do this well with our other family that come to visit. I think G-pa's Oreos's helped, that's the wy to his heart, sweet treats and presents. :)

We ate really well this week

A's parents came in town for a few days and it was so fun. I love having family around. A's parents are so giving and s willing to help out, they kept telling us to go out and they would watch C for us, but we wanted to spend as much time with them as possible until they left. We didn't do much while they were here, but we definately did eat, and we ate very good.

Here we are at Outback. I was really not feelin well so we ended up getting our food to go, kinda sums up their wntire visit, I had a hard week.

C's face sums up the week as well. Him being such a booger.

Look at those shrimp, aren't they huge! C's dad was craving some coconut srimp and a bloomin onion, so we got both. They tried to get me to try the shrimp,but no matter how many times I try sea food I NEVER like it, so stop asking me.

G-ma whiping C's nose and G-pa diggin it to the bllomin onion, it was quite delicious. We had so much fun.

Carving Pumpkins

Well, I hate the order Blogger puts it's pictures in because they always seem to go in backwards. So here we are from Finish to Start. And yes, I am getting bigger, and yes I do have a very pregnant face and butt. January can't come fast enough.

A drew this face all by himself. It's a pretty sweet face if I do say so. I will carve a white pumpkin every year, they are so much easier. They are softer inside and they don't smell as bad as orange pumpkins. A also drew that bat for C on his little pumpkin.

A's got a nice lookin QC face goin on...he wasn't too keen on pictures that day.

There's that pregnant face we're all excited to see go in January.

We had a lot of fun, we carved these on Halloween morning so we got to set them out for one day, and even then we forgot, so I set them out this morning. We're very on top of things around here.

We went to trunk or treat last night and dressed C up as Dwight from The Office, A dressed up as Jim and I dressed up as pregnant Jan. We were a great little group, no one knew who we were. It was pretty sad. C made a grat Dwight, when he'd wear his glasses, which was NEVER. Anyway, it was still fun.
